ForgenFit (org.codcrafters.forgenfit) lets you delete your data and close your account. This page explains what is deleted, what may remain, and how to request deletion — as required by Google Play's account deletion policy.
What gets deleted
When you delete your Firebase account
- Your email-based or Google-linked authentication account
- Your Firebase user ID and sign-in credentials
When you clear local app data or uninstall
- Profile information (name, age, weight, height, goals, activity level)
- Workout logs and exercise history
- Nutrition and meal logs
- Notification and reminder settings
- Locally stored AI Coach API key and chat history
- Optional profile photo stored on your device
What we do not store on our servers
Most fitness data is stored only on your device. CODCrafters does not operate a separate cloud database for your workout or nutrition logs. Deleting local data or uninstalling the app removes that information from your phone.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open ForgenFit on your Android device.
- Go to Profile → Workout Logs and delete individual logs, or use “Delete all” to clear history.
- Sign out from your account in Profile settings.
- On your device, go to Settings → Apps → ForgenFit → Storage → Clear data to remove all local profile and fitness data.
Option 2 — Delete your Firebase account
To permanently remove your sign-in account:
- If you signed in with Google, you may remove app access from your Google Account permissions page.
- Email us at contact@codcrafters.org from the email address linked to your account with the subject line “ForgenFit Account Deletion Request”.
- Include your registered email address. We will process verified requests within 30 days and confirm when your authentication account has been deleted.
- After account deletion, clear app data or uninstall ForgenFit to remove remaining local information on your device.
Option 3 — Uninstall the app
Uninstalling ForgenFit from your device removes all locally stored fitness data, profile settings, and logs. If you had an online account, also complete Option 2 to delete your authentication record.
Data that may be retained temporarily
- Backup or security logs held by Google Firebase for fraud prevention (subject to Google's retention policies)
- Support emails you sent us (retained only as long as needed to resolve your request)
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
