These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ForgenFit (“ForgenFit”, “the App”), the Android application (org.codcrafters.forgenfit), and our website at https://forgenfit.codcrafters.org, operated by CODCrafters (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using ForgenFit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use ForgenFit. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. The App is intended for general fitness and wellness purposes only.

2. Description of service

ForgenFit provides tools including, but not limited to:

Workout plans, exercise guides, and video demonstrations
Workout logging and rest timers
Nutrition and macro tracking
Body-metric calculators (BMI, BMR, TDEE, IBW, hydration, and related estimates)
Optional AI coaching (when you provide your own API key)
Local reminders and notifications

Features may change, be added, or removed at any time. We strive to keep the App available on the Google Play Store, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Accounts and security

You may register with email/password, Google Sign-In, or use limited guest access.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
Notify us immediately at contact@codcrafters.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law
Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks
Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
Use automated systems to scrape or abuse the service

5. Health, fitness, and nutrition disclaimer

IMPORTANT: ForgenFit is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content — including workouts, nutrition targets, AI Coach responses, and body-metric calculations — is provided for general informational purposes only.

Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program.
Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
Nutrition estimates are approximations and may not suit your individual health needs.
You assume all risks associated with physical activity and dietary changes.

6. AI Coach

The optional AI Coach feature uses third-party AI services when you supply an API key. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for evaluating AI output and for any actions you take based on it. We are not liable for decisions made using AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual property

ForgenFit, including its design, logos, text, graphics, videos, and software, is owned by CODCrafters or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written consent.

8. Third-party services and links

The App integrates with or links to third-party services (e.g., Firebase, Google Sign-In, WhatsApp, Google Gemini). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. Privacy

Your use of ForgenFit is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your information.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODCrafters AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP — INCLUDING INJURY, ILLNESS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES RELATED TO EXERCISE OR NUTRITION — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or USD $0 if the App was used free of charge).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CODCrafters from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account as described on our Account & Data Deletion page. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or Play Store listing. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
